Transdev has extensive experience in operating campus and public transit systems at colleges and universities across the United States. From campus transit systems with just one vehicle up to 60 shuttles, we run transit systems for university clients of all sizes.
Transdev works closely with university administrators to design and operate mobility services that meet the unique needs of students, faculty and employees, offering a complete and flexible range of services.

T Link, University of Tennessee
The University of Tennessee in Knoxville is a public research university in Eastern Tennessee. They wanted to increase usage of on-campus shared transportation services and provide a safe night-time service for students. In order to increase our service offer and passenger ridership, we worked with a technology partner to implement an on-demand campus transportation service, the T Link. Between 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., students can request a ride via the University’s mobile app. T Link serves two of the University’s campuses and surrounding neighborhoods, connecting students to their residence halls and key destinations on campus. In a 2018 Student Satisfaction Survey, more than 80% of the UTK students surveyed indicated that they were satisfied by the improvements and the passenger app was the highest rated recent enhancement to the UTK transit system by students.
