Our passengers and clients trust and rely on us every day to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective transportation services. This isn’t just a responsibility, it’s our civic duty.
Our uncompromising commitment to safety, our passion for delivering excellent service and cost-savings, our values and integrity both as employees and as a corporation: these are the inherent traits that define Transdev.
Around the world, we share a common set of Core Beliefs. They are made up of our Credo (Uncompromising Safety), Ethics, Values, and our Corporate Social Responsibility. These elements unify us as Transdev colleagues and form the foundation of our culture and our commitments to clients, customers and employees. These guiding principles aren’t relegated to a brochure that gathers dust on top of a cabinet; we strive to live our core beliefs every day and champion employees who reflect our beliefs in thought and in action.
Our Credo: Uncompromising Safety
Safety is our highest priority and our deepest conviction. At Transdev, caring for the safety of our employees and passengers is the most important things that we do every day. It is our moral, ethical, and legal obligation and is at the core of our business practices. We strive to embed safety awareness and safe behaviors in everything we do. We are dedicated to providing a safe service and a safe workplace.

These values guide and motivate us. They influence our actions, choices and decisions. We strive to live our values every day. We commit to regularly discussing what we can do to more fully demonstrate our values-based behaviors while working together. The Transdev values, along with our Ethics and Code of Business Conduct, unify us with our colleagues in Transdev locations around the world.

Transdev does this by relying on its tens of thousands of employees who at all times and everywhere in the world must act and make decisions in accordance with strong ethical principles. We are committed to ethical behavior, honesty, integrity and consistency between our words and actions. These principles are summarized in our North American Code of Business Conduct and in Transdev’s Code of Ethics.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Transdev maintains a deep commitment to corporate social responsibility, which we define as sustainability, inclusion and service to our communities. Our company commits to a higher standard of corporate care with the environment, our employees, and communities we serve.
We strive to take actions that respect the Earth and its fragile environment. Around the world we are working to reducing idling vehicles in our fleet and fuel consumption overall. We are aggressive in incorporating alternative fuels and low- and no-emission vehicles into our fleets whenever possible. Transdev is an industry leader in electric bus operations.
We are proud of the diversity of our people and ideas. We work hard to respect different cultures, histories and perspectives of our vast workforce. Transdev values the contributions of all the members of our teams and are committed to developing our people and their capabilities. In addition, our goal is to have productive and respectful relationships with labor organizations, as well as with franchisees and independent contractors.
Many of our employees—at all levels of the company—abide by a civic code of conduct that leads them to build homes for Habitat for Humanity, paint schools in need of repair, and volunteer whenever necessary in times of calm or crisis. At holidays we orchestrate many “Stuff-a-Bus” programs and collect clothing and many other items for people in need, often in partnership with local charities.
Living our Core Beliefs
We have carefully articulated the behaviors that will bring our Core Beliefs to life in our culture. We encourage our teams to regularly discuss where they are doing a good job living our Core Beliefs and where they could do better. We believe in transparent acknowledgement that we are striving to manifest these behaviors in our daily work practices, and that we are not perfect, but this is what we are committed to as a company and as individuals.
